Photoblog screensaver
I had a thought tonight - that it would be nice to have a screensaver that would fetch images from your favourite photoblogs. I considered writing one, but did a quick google search for one first, and found Media Feed Screen Saver
which is what I was looking for. Ideally I’d like a bit more eyecandy/effect in displaying the images though, so I might add to it, or do a Java version.
Do you know of any similar projects?

Surely it would be more useful to have an alternating desktop background picture? Also, you could add some useful info about the currently displayed picture overlaid onto the image (the blog comment for instance). The image could update every time the user logs in, or at a set interval.
Java is a bit of an overhead though, code it in C++

Photoblog Screensaver
A friend of my Oyvind is programming up what I would consider to be a great screensaver using photoblogs as the images. Read more over on his site…
