Photoblog screensaver

I had a thought tonight - that it would be nice to have a screensaver that would fetch images from your favourite photoblogs. I considered writing one, but did a quick google search for one first, and found Media Feed Screen Saver
which is what I was looking for. Ideally I’d like a bit more eyecandy/effect in displaying the images though, so I might add to it, or do a Java version.

Do you know of any similar projects?

Top 3 distractions

What websites do you visit when you need a distraction? Here’s my top 3 “timewasters” I keep returning to.

3. Blogsnow.com - tracking 15,755,657 blogs
The most popular links for the current time.  Always an interesting read to find.

2. Photofriday.com - The Weekly Photo Challenge
Easy to get lost browsing the many photoblogs linked. Equally easy to get inspired and set of a photo project afterwards.

1. Lifehacker.com - the Productivity and Software Guide
Yes, it’s ironic - the site aims to save time and make you more productive. Yet I keep spending time reading their website.

Back online

Well, it’s been a while. Time to bring my website back to life again from over a year of neglect. So what has happened.

A lot of things. I met a girl named Anna. We moved together about a year ago. Just before christmas we moved in to our new flat. Most of the autumn was spent redocorating it with new kitchen, floors and walls. Still some bits and pieces to complete on that. Things are good! There’s more pictures over at Anna’s blog.

At work I’ve been equally busy - so little time to play. That be photography or World of warcraft. Now in 2007 things look a bit calmer and I hope to be able to maintain this blog to something worthwhile reading.
