I'm a father of two living in Oslo, Norway with my family - Anna and our two sons.
My professional experience range from software engineering to key account management in the online media business. In recent years my focus has been data engineering and machine learning. Common to my work is that I enjoy making things happen, making a difference whether it being by writing code or managing people.
I am cofounder of Mimeria - where our goal is to make it easier for companies to make use of modern big data and machine learning technology.
I'm a long time active member of javaBin and have been in involved in the JavaZone conference for several years as program committee member and developer of the schedule planner for android. I have done talks and workshops on data engineering as well as agile and lean development.
I like to combine my interests in new ways - my interest for photography, electronics and programming turned led me on to building quadcopters in their early days, and contributing to the Aeroquad project. The past years I have turned my passion on to electronic music production and custom synth hardware.
